Whether you’re planning a short-term stay or looking for longer accommodations on campus, this section is here to help. You’ll find answers to common questions about your stay here at Western. Our goal is to make your summer experience comfortable, convenient and stress-free.

Who can stay on campus?

From May 7 to August 22, Western University offers accommodations to conference delegates, students and visitors to London when referred by a Western community member (long-term stays at London Hall are open to students only). A valid UWO email address and contact name are required when making a reservation.

Where do I check in?

All guests, including those staying at London Hall, will check in at the Front Desk of Ontario Hall which is open 24/7. Buildings are located across the road from one another, however if you will be bringing a large amount of luggage, you may wish to ask your taxi to wait for you to check in.

What is provided in the room?

Bedrooms for short term stays at Ontario are equipped with bed linens, towels, washcloths, a bar of soap and cups. Forget something at home? A variety of toiletries are available at the Ontario Hall Front Desk upon request. For long term stays occurring at London Hall, you will be responsible for bringing your own bed linen, towels and kitchen supplies (such as plates, pot, pans, cutlery, etc.).

If I book a room with two beds, will there be another guest staying in my room?

No—your room will not be shared with another booking. When you reserve a room, it is assigned exclusively to you and your group.

Economy Rooms, which accommodate up to two people and include a washroom, are private and will not be assigned to another guest. Suites, which can accommodate up to four people and also include a washroom, are likewise reserved only for your group.

Semi-Private Rooms at London Hall, available for monthly stays, include a shared in-suite kitchen and washroom. The second and/or third bedroom within the suite will be assigned to another student.

Where can I park and is it free during the summer?

Long-term stays in London Hall will need to visit Parking Services and check student lots for proximity.

Short term guests at Ontario Hall can park in Honk parking specified spaces behind Ontario Hall and in the Ontario Hall lot. The lot is free on evenings (after 5:00 p.m.) and on weekends.
